Marx Stock Number: 1067a

Produced: 1967-1975

Josie west was the first type of a Western girl. She was 7.5” tall, had blonde hair, was molded in turquoise color poly-plastic and had the same all soft vinyl cream accessory pack as Janice. Josie can be identified by fringe molded on her shirt. In 1975 JWA changed her intended mold color to green, and gave her white and pink accessories. Keep in mind green versions of Josie may actually have Janice body molds. This was a problem when Marx gave the JWA figures unique body colors in 1975. The JWA Janice I have pictured shows what I mean. It is technically a Janice body mold. Canadian MOD versions of Josie were royal blue, and had white soft vinyl accessories. Our books and modules show excellent differences in full color for variations of these figures, check out the book section for more details. The Canadian Module alone has 44 pages of details on Canada produced figures.
